Sports that you participate In:  Cross Country/Track

Other school clubs/activities:  Health Club

Favorite sports memory?:  One of my favorite sports memories was our conference relay meet during our 2018 track season. This is one of my favorite memories because the races were really fun. I ran the 1600 in the distance medley, and I was the anchor for our 4x800 relay team. In the distance medley our team was in third place when I took the baton, and we were about 10 seconds behind. We ended up getting second place by a meer 0.3 seconds, but my competitors and the crowd made the race really enjoyable.

What is your favorite class?:  One of my favorite classes is math. I like patterns, logic, and problem solving. I’m interested in studying math in college, and if I pursue my interests in engineering then math would be very important.

Favorite professional team:  I don’t have a favorite team, but I like to watch football, track, and soccer when I can.

Favorite professional athlete:  One of my favorite professional athletes is Shalane Flanagan. She is an olympic runner, and she won the New York City marathon in 2017. Shalane Flanagan is one of the first athletes I watched, and then continued to watch.

College or post-high school plans:  I’m looking forward to going to college. I’m still exploring where I want to go, but I’m interested in smaller or medium sized schools.

What is your dream job?:  I am really interested in space, and why things work the way they do. It would be amazing to work as an astrophysicist, theoretical physicist, or an engineer.
